experience will be a great asset to the team. There is a big job ahead of us
to try and get our country, province, back on track and it is so sad as to
what is happening to us.

Having cared for patients along side Jackie at Nanaimo Regional General Hospital since 2008 I can attest to her commitment to the health of seniors and the disenfranchised. This allegiance has been evident for over three decades, reflecting back to her involvement with the unveiling of Haven House in Nanaimo.
Being a hobby aviaculturist I was greatly impressed by Jackie's earlier volunteer work, with the North Island Wild Life Recovery Center in Errington, and enthusiasm towards the raptor breeding program. Jackie is a whole hearted environmentalist as she and husband Laurie operate their 20 acre "green" farm in Cedar and are active volunteers for the Mid-Island Sustainability & Stewardship Initiative, preserving the greenlands of Vancouver Island.
Jackie's worldly travels often provide for interesting anecdotal tales, such as the time she met Mother Teresa, but more so providing her a global perspective of current social, economic and political topics significant today.
Jackie's rich life experiences coupled with her commitment to equality provide her the ability to strive for outcomes best for all. Ecologic preservation, environmental sustainability and adequate fair healthcare are at the forefront for Jackie.
